We decided to make this our title because we believe it is the most effective out of the three we designed this is because we believe the font stands out as it's different to the rest. Therefore it intrigues the audience because of many things such as the colours used in the font, but using the word red in the colour black and vice versa shows a twist which could foreshadow the twist which is going to happen in our opening sequence, which shows the titles effectiveness.
Our alternatives were:
The reason we didn't decided on this title in the final decision is because compared to the other ideas we created it seemed to basic and didn't convey anything. We decided we'd like to convey and be clever in the way we style the title. However, basic isn't always bad as it could suggest the film is classic and therefore has a good representation but in this case we wanted to create a title which was easy to understand and intrigue the audience as much as we could.
We decided against using this as our title because once we came ot the agreement that the title needed colour in it to intrigue audiences. Although, Jess research the ideas behind fonts and she found that dark and bold colours are most effective in these circumstances, In the final decision days we decided against this idea because it could be misinterpreted as an army film therefore giving a false representation which could attract the wrong target audience and we wouldn't want complications especially when they could be avoided.
